San Diego Hiking – Crestridge Ecological Reserve in El Cajon / Lakeside

Hiking at Crestridge Ecological Reserve is an amazing way to get back in touch with the world around you, while taking the time to enjoy Southern California’s lovely landscapes.

Crestridge Ecological Reserve is a great place for hikers of any age or experience level to explore. The trails are fairly easy with minimal rugged sections. You will also find a Hubble designed tourist center. Crestridge Ecological Reserve photos here.

To reach the primary entrance of Crestridge Ecological Reserve, take the Highway 8, exit at Greenfield Drive, head southeast. Turn left on La Cresta Road, turn left on Mountain View, turn left on Horsemill Road and enter the ER at the end of the cul-de-sac. A visitor kiosk will provide maps and pamphlets with information about the ER.
